FREELANCE PROJECT - I was tasked with creating the branding for a brand new luxury home decor brand. This included, design concepting and strategy, logo, color, type, identity suite, packaging, photography style, icons, website and social media sample design and content ideas.
Artis is a new, not yet launched to market luxury handcrafted artisan home decor brand that wants to celebrate their artisans and community – not just for what they do, but WHO they are because they believe that they are the change-makers and creators that have a positive impact on our world each and every day.
The Artîs logo features a unique "A" to represent beauty and uniqueness just like each of the Artîs pieces. The modern boho nature of the font appeals to its demographic and adds the air of luxury. The logo also features a Navigation icon which is titlted to add an accent to the I to help with pronounciation as well as nod to the fact that the brand wants to highlight that its decor pieces come from Artisans all around the world.
The Artîs A is used along with a circle and makes the brands emblem. It signifies uniqueness through the A and the circle represents the world and inclusivity. Artîs when not in the logo should always be spelled with a "^" over the "i",
Branded drawstring fabric totes to carry product assortment. Bags can range from large, medium and small.
Product tags feature a branded city map highlighting where the piece originated from. On the back, the tag features a special note from the artisan who crafted the piece.
Shopping tote alternative for an alternative punchier option
When customers recieve their packages online, they will get branded tissue paper which features a map with the brands Navigation icon to show exactly where the artisan crafted their piece. They will also recieve a post card inspired by the artisan using collage style art and featuring photographs of how its made and a note from the artisan about the piece.
Key website highlights include “StyleBoards” which is a way for users to easily create moodboards with our images and share their vision for their space with friends, partners and more.
Other key website highlight includes the concept of the ArtÎs Market. A place for customers and fans of the brand to connect and discover pieces and stories from across the globe. Here users can discover more items from the artisans and find pieces they may be looking for.
The Artîs social media will start as a place for consumers to learn even more about their Artîs finds and their Artisan who crafted them and gradually start to include stories from other consumers. The feed will be a well balanced mix of story, inspiration and product/brand information. Our social media is a place for those really into interior design, artisan crafts, and home decor but also those interested in connecting with people, culture, and history.
